YGIG, also displayed as Trip Memory, helps you create travel routes, save arrival memories, and export route videos. This policy explains what information is collected, why it is used, and how you can contact us.

Information We Collect

Account information

When you sign in or create an account, we may collect your user ID, email address, display name, sign-in provider, account creation time, and recent login/update times. If you use Google Sign-In, Google may provide basic profile information needed to authenticate your account.

Travel journal information

We may store the travel data you create in the app, including trip group names, origin and destination cities, countries, coordinates, route geometry, transportation mode, optional travel dates, language preference, export aspect ratio preference, and text captions you add to routes.

Photos and videos

If you choose to add photos or videos to an arrival memory, the app requests access to your photo library so you can select those files. Selected media is used to preview, play, and render your travel film. The app does not upload your selected photo or video files to Firebase. Media may remain on your device or in local app/browser storage so the travel film can be shown again.

• To provide login, account, and sync features.
• To save and restore your travel routes across sessions and devices.
• To display routes, arrival memories, captions, and travel film playback.
• To improve reliability, security, and basic app functionality.

Third-Party Services

YGIG uses Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Google Sign-In. These services are provided by Google and may process information under Google's privacy practices. You can learn more at Google Privacy Policy.

Sharing and Selling Data

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with advertisers. Information may be processed by service providers such as Firebase and Google only as needed to operate the app.

Data Retention and Deletion

Account and cloud-synced travel data may be retained while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account data from the YGIG Account Deletion page. Photos and videos selected in the app are generally stored locally; deleting the app or clearing browser/app data may remove locally stored media.

Children's Privacy

YGIG is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

International Transfers

Because the app uses Google and Firebase services, information may be processed in countries other than your country of residence.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when app features or legal requirements change. The updated date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last revised.
