Account Deletion

This page explains how YGIG users can request deletion of their account and related data. YGIG is also displayed as Trip Memory in some app screens and documentation.

Deletion Request

To request account deletion, email us from the email address used for your YGIG account.

How to Request Deletion

  1. Send an email to marriage1210@gmail.com.
  2. Use the subject line: YGIG account deletion request.
  3. Send the request from the same email address used for your YGIG account.
  4. Include your YGIG display name if available.

Data Deleted

After verifying the request, we delete account and cloud-synced data associated with your YGIG account, including:

Data Not Uploaded to Our Server

Photos and videos selected in YGIG are used for previews and travel film rendering. The app does not upload selected photo or video files to Firebase. These files may remain on your device or in local app/browser storage. To remove locally stored media, delete the app or clear the app/browser data on your device.

Retention Period

We aim to process account deletion requests within 30 days. Deleted cloud-synced account data may remain in backup or service-provider logs for up to 30 additional days before being fully removed by normal backup rotation. We may retain limited records only if required for security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal obligations.
